El Patron Rotisserie - Peruvian Cuisine: Reviews & Ratings
This is a hidden gem here in Napa! Such a welcome addition to the culinary scene, which I feel like sometimes doesn’t have enough variety. This place is legit. The people who work there have always been super kind and welcoming and everything I’ve tasted to far has kept me going back to try more. My favorite dishes so far are the beef lomo saltado and the aeropuerto.
I recently came here with family and friends and I can 100% say I will be coming back! The food tasted like it was freshly made and full of flavor. I got the lomo saltado and the steak was cooked to perfection. The pollo a la brasa was bursting with flavor with every bite I took. I definitely recommend coming here.
Muy muy Rico!!! Delicious!!!! The lomo saltado was actually better than when I had it in Peru.. and I’ve had it a few times. This place is my new favorite place in Napa..
Recommend this for good Peruvian dining experience. Looks like a hole in the wall, but service and food are excellent. We (2) ordered their Peruvian Paella (heads up, this is different in texture and flavors from Spanish Paella) and the Passion fruit juice. Portion size was sufficient for two. They add a bit of cheese in there, so when serving it may become a bit stringy, but it was delicious with perfect combination of seasoning, spices and acidity. Try the raw onions on the side with ceviche juice.
A neat, unpretentious place with great food. The space itself is nothing special, and Peruvian TV shows somehow both add and detract from the ambiance. The food, however, is so well worth it, especially if you are into the South American cuisine! We tried Arroz chaufa de pollo, Chicharron, Lomo Saltado de pollo and de carne, and it was all finger-licking good. Prices are reasonable, by Napa standards. Good, friendly service. We will be back.
My dining experience at this restaurant was exceptional. Napa doesn’t have many diverse dining options, so I decided to try Peruvian cuisine for the first time and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. I ordered chicha morada, a refreshing drink made from Peruvian purple corn, lightly sweet with hibiscus and cinnamon notes. Amazing! For food, I chose two of Peru’s most iconic dishes: ceviche and lomo saltado. Both were outstanding. The ceviche had the perfect amount of tang and balanced flavors, and the lomo saltado was cooked to perfection with that authentic smoky wok flavor truly a 10/10. Portions were generous, and I even had leftovers. I’ll definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!

El Patron Rotisserie - Peruvian Cuisine is a standout gem nestled in the heart of Napa, offering an authentic taste of Peruvian culinary heritage. This unassuming spot at 1637 W Imola Ave surprises visitors with bold flavors, expertly crafted dishes, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that keeps diners coming back for more.
The true highlight here is the lomo saltado, a classic Peruvian stir-fry of tender beef, fresh vegetables, and savory sauces that locals and chefs alike praise for surpassing the authentic experience—even better than some versions found in Peru. The pollo a la brasa, or rotisserie chicken, is another crowd favorite, bursting with smoky, well-seasoned flavor that perfectly captures the essence of traditional Peruvian cooking.
El Patron doesn’t stop there. Their Peruvian Paella offers a unique twist, enriched by a blend of spices, cheese, and a hint of acidity that gives it a distinctive texture and flavor profile, separate from its Spanish counterpart. Pairing this with fresh ceviche and passion fruit juice elevates the experience, balancing rich and tangy notes harmoniously.
What truly sets El Patron apart is the genuine hospitality and the care infused into every dish, making this modest eatery a vibrant addition to Napa’s culinary scene. The unpretentious setting and authentic Peruvian TV playing in the background may feel simple, but the food delivers remarkable depth and character. Whether you’re craving a hearty Arroz chaufa, crispy Chicharron, or the beloved Lomo Saltado with chicken or beef, expect a rich symphony of flavors executed with passion and precision.
In all, El Patron Rotisserie - Peruvian Cuisine is an invitation to explore Peru’s rich gastronomic traditions through dishes that feel fresh, homemade, and deeply satisfying. For anyone seeking bold South American flavors in Napa, this spot is not just a meal, but a memorable culinary journey.
